Pre-Algebra

 Pre-Algebra is meticulously crafted to cater to students seeking to strengthen their grasp of fundamental mathematical principles and enhance their fluency in order to excel in Algebra I, while also boosting their confidence in computational and analytical skills. This course encompasses a comprehensive review and reinforcement of essential concepts, serving as the cornerstone for students' readiness to tackle Algebra.

 Throughout this course, students will experience the satisfaction of mastering previously taught concepts, such as simplifying and solving equations. They will also build greater confidence in handling percentages, ratios, proportions, rational numbers, factors, variables, integers, laws of exponents, central tendencies, as well as the art of solving linear equations, comprehending linear functions, understanding rates of change, and proficiently graphing mathematical functions.

 Designed with the goal of preparing students for success in Algebra I, this course goes the extra mile by providing a strong foundation that can pave the way for students to complete Algebra II by their senior year.

 대수학 선수과정은 기본 수학 개념과 대수학-1 에서 계산 및 분석 능력을 향상시키고 발전시키고자 하는 학생들을 위해 마련되었습니다. 이 과정은 대수학 기초를 다지기 위해 필요한 개념을 포함하였고 대수학 수업을 위해 학생들을 준비시킵니다.

 이 과정을 통해 학생들은 방정식 단순화 및 해결과 같은 이전에 가르쳤던 개념을 마스터하는 만족감을 느낄 것입니다. 또한, 백분율, 비율, 비례, 유리수, 인수, 변수, 정수, 지수 법칙, 중심 경향성, 선형 방정식 해결, 선형 함수 이해, 변화율 이해, 그래프 그리기에 대한 자신감을 키울 것입니다.

이 과정은 대수학 1 에서의 성공을 위한 준비를 목표로 하며, 학생들이 고등학교 4학년 때까지 대수학 2를 수료할 수 있도록 도와 줄 것입니다.

Algebra I

 The Algebra I A/B course is thoughtfully crafted to cater to students who would benefit from a more gradual introduction to algebraic concepts. Unlike the standard algebra class, this program entails daily interactions with the teacher rather than every other day. The rationale behind this approach is to establish a robust foundation of comprehension, an investment of time that guarantees success in more advanced mathematical endeavors.

 This course empowers students to delve into Algebra I over the course of a full year, proceeding at a more measured pace. The daily framework of the curriculum is meticulously designed to bolster understanding of the subjects covered in class. In addition, the Algebra I A/B course includes an extensive review of pre-algebra concepts. While this daily course counts as a single math class, it occupies two periods in the scheduling arrangement. Instruction follows a flipped format, which minimizes the need for homework. The majority of coursework can be accomplished within the allotted 85-minute class period, and students will receive supplementary videos to watch at home.

 This course ensures daily exposure to mathematical concepts. The first semester covers Algebra IA, while the second semester focuses on Algebra IB. These two semesters are consecutive, intended to be completed within a single academic year.

Algebra II

 Algebra II covers a range of mathematical topics, including function notation, linear equations, factoring, quadratic and polynomial equations, as well as radical expressions. Students will also explore complex numbers, curve sketching, conic sections, exponential and rational functions, logarithms, and basic statistical concepts. The curriculum also introduces sequences and series, along with trigonometry.
